is their anyway to take a screenshot of an entire webpage or can only do if of what is actually in your window box?

It depends on whether the page content is static or dynamic. There are programs out there (google html to jpg) which will do it. If you know Java, PM me an email address and I'll send something your way.

You can just take a pic in segments, and stitch it together with some graphics app.

why not just save the webpage or print it to a pdf?

you use a Mac or install Acrobat or any number of (Google) "create free pdf" then Print to PDF
