I'm running on a Dell Dimension 8400, the problem is, both the CD and the DVD drives aren't working. They run, they open and the green lights show up. But, nothing happens on the screen. I can't find them in My Computer or anything.

Anyone have an easy fix?

I've no idea where to do that. I can't find anything about the drives on the computer. It's almost like they aren't there.

see if they are recognized in the bios.

Make sure they are properly connected by checking the IDE cables
