So you want to pay $400 instead of $50 for the same thing. Is that what you are saying?
In that case, I don't have an answer for you.

money is not the issue. i'd be more comfortable paying someone who has the right tools and has good recommendations, as opposed to someone who has a bunch of bottles of cleaning stuff and is just trying to make a buck.

also, one of our cars was damaged by the gate to our apartment complex and the management said to get the repairs taken care of and they'd reimburse us.

you realize these "good shops" employ the same kids who "just want to make a buck," right? cleaning isn't rocket science and I'd be willing to bet you'd get better service by some broke college student washing cars to eat versus some kid getting paid regardless.

i asked for shop recommendations, not a debate between using a shop vs. some random kid. if there are no recommendations, then no problem.

what we are looking for more than anything is paint detail work, the only thing interiorwise we might need is an actual good leather cleaning/conditioning. at least i know thats true for my car.

actually that picture of my car there was after no more than a good handwashing and a quick swipe with a chamois. im lazy though, a hand washing is about all i am good for on my best day, by the time i finish, and dry the car off you can forget opening a bottle of compound or wax. im not detailing shit. my real problem is i get carried away and before i know it its dark and i have half of the car PERFECT and the other half looks like shit. we are looking for a prefessional who knows exactly what they are doing, and can do the best job possible. also we both have had our vehicles in different shops recently for very different reasons and I feel like we both got jipped- ideally we are looking for someone confident enough in their work they will stand behind it if there is any problems. we are absolutely not interested in any discount bargian detail work, if it costs more for what we want so be it. im not totally sure why she came here to ask for a reccomendation though lol. in fact the car that the gate closed on was my bonneville.

The place on Wake Forest just inside the beltline does good work. I think it's across the road from the Costco or whatever super grocery store is there. No idea how much it costs, we took our cars there when I worked at SECU.

Why would I need to buy an ad? He asked for a detail shop, I am a detail shop. Simple answer to a simple question.

nowhere in this thread, above your post, did someone ask for a detail shop... since 2006, before psi bumped it.

everyone knows that 69 takes the dick like a champ, but he doesnt go around advertising his capabilities across TWW.

bunkeys $100. every time ive taken a car there to put it up for sale ive always been happy with the out come.

If money really isnt an issue just go to majestic solutions and buy the most retared shit you can buy and get out there and work out in the heat, take pride in some work, and enjoy some quality time together tag teaming a car. no homo
