I currently use AIM and it keep shutting off and on every 5 minutes or so. I have removed and reinstalled it like 3 times now. I dont think its my internet connection ( I have road runner and I have no problems on any of my other internet dependent applications)

you know, i had that same problem a few years back...do you have a d-link router? or is your computer plugged directly into the cable modem? or option c?

I have a linksys that is connected to a modem if thats what you mean....(I dont know too much about computers )
