Apparently the mine had a ton of safety violations including not controlling some type of dust that can cause explosions when it builds up. Knowing this probably could have been prevented makes it even worse

the miners went in on Monday morning at around 6:30am give or take...that was like 32 hours ago...their portable oxygen supplies last about an hour...who knows if they are blocked in...also supposed to be tons of methane gas in there...and the explosion itself took up a good chunk of O2 i'm sure

Yeah... He's in part trying to put his face with some good news, hoping that the miners will come out alive. Or at the very least, leave no man left behind in the mine. Give them a decent and proper burial, which is a fair sign of respect...

I'm pretty sure they're dead though, I'd be majorly impressed if they made it out alive (and boy I hope they are, but the signs haven't looked good so far).

EXACTLY...i was watching last night when the woman came and broke the news to HIM that there was only one survivor...i immediately thought that when the rescuers reached the miners, they still had heartbeats but just couldnt make it out...still though...he ripped the mine company for letting the news get the hopes of the families up, but i dont know why they run with so much unfound shit...god i hate the media...but thats not to say i wasnt watching the story
