He just had a press conference announcing it though

Straight from the horses mouth.

Quote :
"
Mario Williams
I'm entering the draft, and I wanted to go ahead and have my press conference today."

"I really had to face the fact that I'm going to be leaving a great family here... the coaches and the players."

"I've always talked to Chuck and been around him, he's always been there. Him and the rest of the family... there's going to be a piece of my heart here. I'll always keep in touch. I'll always be a Wolfpack."

"The sky is the limit. You never know how high you can go with the way the draft works."

"As a kid you always dream about making it to the next level. It's always been there, ever since I was a little kid."

"Obviously this season. I know coaches would have cracked and crumbled, and for what coach Amato to do what he did, everything turned around drastically, it was like night and day. For us to be 2-4 and to continue to improve and stop the penalties and turnovers, and believe in the program and follow our leader. I'll always remember this season, no matter what happens. I just feel like this was phenominal."

Chuck Amato:

"You always hate to see athletes, male or female, leave any place before they get their education. Now, with that being said, I am 100% supportive of this young man's decisions on anything and everything he does."

"I'm so happy for him and his mom and his family."

"That new indoor complex might be... what do we got here... Rivers-Holt-Williams Indoor Workout." "

FWIW: I think he has 1 semester of school left to get his degree... so I imagine he will still graduate before the draft comes.

The quote by Chuck is kind of misleading

He said he wouldn't take classes next semester, said it would be too hard to manage both school and all that stuff. At least that's what it said in the press conference.

Just said he hadn't really decided yet, but that he was really considering using the spring to work out instead.

He'll probably go to the Jets or the Packers.

I can't see him slipping past Oakland at #7. Every one of those bottom 7 teams has a terrible defense.
