Anybody have any experience with this product?

I have a fairly new PS2 (the thin one) and ordered the USB Extreme software. I have tried to save 2 games to it so far (Metal Gear Solid 2 and God of War). Both seemed to save to the HDD successfully, but I cannot play either one. It may just be a problem with the games I have tried so far. I have a Seagate 120 GB external drive that I am using BTW. Any help would be appreciated.
