Ok I'm taking all DE courses, which added up to 18 hours and I decided to drop one so that I could have a full time job - my tuition was paid for with financial aid, and I've already got the refund. What I'm wondering is - will I get the $480 back for the 4 cr/hrs of my course dropped, and how long will it take to get it? Also, do I need to fill out any forms or go to the cashiers office? Will I have any fees taken out because classes start today?

Best thing to do would be call the Cashier's Office to verify this:
http://distance.ncsu.edu/registration/payment.html
Quote : | "Payment is processed through the University Cashiers Office and the tuition for Distance Education is separate from on-campus, and is not included in full time tuition." |
http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/cashier/tuition/
Quote : | "Census date is typically the 10th day of class each semester. The date is posted in Pack Tracks and on the UCO Tuition Rate pages." |
Quote : | "Upon adding course work that results in an increased rate, students will be billed during the next Cashier's Office billing cycle. Refunds resulting from courses dropped prior to the semester’s census date will be processed after census date. If you have not signed up for Direct Deposit, refund checks will be mailed to the university correspondence address listed in Pack Tracks." |
