I'm a student, and I found it useful for term papers. In POLI 236, we had a group term paper, and my group did the entire paper using Near-Time.net. It was easy as hell, because we didn't have to send out e-mails each time a new draft was made; Near-Time.net allows you to store attachments on their server, and comment/edit stuff. Looks like another content management/audit system ... they are a dime in a dozen. This one doesn't look like it has anything special to it.
