1. I doubt they will find a car that will fit the same vibe as a Trans-Am did at the time of the show's production.

But in Knightrider 2000 KITT was taken apart, then Michael put him into another car (at first an early model thunderbird I believe) which was a concept car ford probe I believe (interestingly both fords). So it has to be a different car .

David Hasslehoff is also getting divorced apparently.

hahaha i remember Knight 2000, the hoff somehow put KITT in his old 57 Chevy.

and IMDB says William Daniels is 79 yrs old so he may be in poor health to reprise to role. Who knows.

Actually the car he put KITT in was a Pontiac Banshee....

Maybe KITT could be integrated in to the cyborg version of Michael Knight, that is after the robot holocaust of course... Again Michael's robotic version of himself would have lasers, maybe some heatseeking assisination mini-missles, and that cool gun from the movie with the intergalactic drug-dealers. Oh, and he wouldn't need any transportation because he would have all the various terrain options that we learned to love in the later seasons.

True, but I was surprised that the General Lee didnt get rebuilt into the 2006 Charger (I really thought the old one would get destroyed in the end and in the epilogue theyd unveil a new Dodge Charger). I agree with using the new Camaro/TransAm, but itll be more about which car manufacturer wants to pay X million dollars to have a feature film made about their car.

And I know IMDb has Hoff as Michael Knight, but IMDd is based on user information and I just dont see a major studio not trying to cast a big celebrity...itll probably end up being Josh Hartnett or Jamie Foxx .
