if i cared that much about a girl liking cars/bikes, i'd just go date a dude. i see a girl knowing/enjoying anything about automobiles as a downside. i just ask one to be tolerable and understanding of my passion for them, that's my time to be alone and do my own shit... i don't want some woman hanging over me, nagging, or arguing with me about them. they do enough of that for other things.

funny we're talking about this. My friend got into an arguement with his brother's girlfriend. My friend was mentioning that he knew a guy who got his '03 Cobra up to 160 and she was like wtf... speedometers are not accurate. He was only going like 110. He of course kept it cool and said "uhh, speedometers aren't perfect but there's no way they're off by 50 mph on a car with 5,000 miles on it" but she would have none of it. They argued for like ten minutes until finally he dropped it.
