I'll admit, Carolina had a couple strikes against them coming into the game. Foster was out, then Goings went out i was seriously sad to see that happen. and the noise at Qwest Field against you was insane.

Panthers played hard to come all the way to the championship. and you really put the pressure on Hasselbeck, and forced us to make a lot of stupid plays/penalties.

seriously if i had to bet money right now, id bet on Pittsburgh for the bowl. I watched both games, and pittsburgh looks like the better team at this point. or at least Carolina ran us harder than Detroit ran Pgh.

You bastards never know how to give credit to another team. They went what 13-3? Had the league MVP in Alexander and even beat the Colts, although they were down then. Yeah it's real bad for the team with the best record in the NFC to go to the Super Bowl.

panthers were beat up from two pretty rough road games again chicago and NYG. seattle was relatively fresh, having had a relatively easy home game against Washington.

so panthers were obviously not on top of their game.

and Goings get knocked out of the game in the 1st quarter really sucked for you too. who knows he'd been able to get things going on the ground. you guys had to dig up, what, a 4th string running back?

A combo of things happened in that game Panthers had too make long trips three weeks in a row. That takes a toll on anybody, last weeks game with the Bears wore us down and sent some key players into the game injured. The Seahawks have the #1 rushing defense in the NFC so even if Foster was healthy I don't know if we could have run against them. Crowd noise affected the team with bad throws and routes. It was a good game and the Seahawks played good, the defense got worn down and Jake gave up 10 points by stupid interceptions. The Seahawks will have some problems with the Steelers in that the Steelers have more than one offensive weapon, unlike the panthers.

I watched the game it reminded me of the first game we played againts Chicago.....Jake was completly lost out of rhythm. He just had a bad game it happens. Good Luck to Seattle, that's all I need to say here.

It's just really unfortunate for Carolina. Over the last 3 years they've been a SB contender and haven't been able to get the job done. The lost to the Pats in the SB after Kasay kicked the KO out of bounds, everyone got hurt the next year and this season they just choked. They saved their worst game of the year for last night.

But they'll be right back in this situation next season. Hopefully Jenkins will make a difference and maybe Foster can actually have a full year as the starter, assuming he signs a contract. When healthy this Panthers team can beat anyone.
