i need an 80-160gb hd. best buy, as everyone should expect, has nothing. i was looking to buy one from a retail store locally, but now i'm desperate.
if you don't know of a local place, where's the best site to get stuff online?
thanks.

USB2.0>Firewire
That said, BestBuy has 160GB seagate drives that have both Firewire and USB 1/23/2006 5:09:50 PM |

If you dont mind big, bulky enclosures, I'd suggest just getting a FW enclosure and buying the HDD separately. It's sometimes cheaper that way. 1/23/2006 5:20:06 PM |

^ Agreed. And Circuit City used to have the ADS DLX-185 that has both USB2.0 and Firewire connections. Throw in an HD of your choice and you're good to go... 1/23/2006 6:09:07 PM |

I saw an adaptec enclosure at Intrex that, I think, has USB 2.0 and Firewire and it cost less than the exact same model than the one I saw at BB. 1/23/2006 6:21:30 PM |

walmart... seriously, if USB 2.0 is ok that is. They've got an 80 and 160gb ones for pretty cheap. I can't find online the one they have in the stores, but I think it's from western digital
