anybody had an issue with a test date? I know that her syllabus says i'm screwed, but i didnt know if she would be flexible if i went to face to face a month prior to the exam.

anybody who has had her know if a she'll let you take a test early or anything?

I am an ice hockey referee and the biggest youth hockey tournament of the year in the carolinas starts the friday of our exam. If you can't be there the night before it starts you can't go and you have to be hand chosen to work the tournament (its supposed to be an honor). Then if you perform well there you get to do bigger tournaments in the southeastern districts or even a national tournament. But if you don't go to this tournament you are SOL.

Think she'd bend for that?

not likely. she's a bitch. i tried last semester when i had multiple exams on back to back to days but she wouldnt allow me. but maybe youll have better luck w/ your excuse and asking way in advance

Barnes is a fabulous lady-- go talk to her in advance and see if you can work something out

but also realize that you can study in advance so you don't have to study the night before too-- she might suggest that

It'll only work if you 1) participate ALOT in class, so she knows your face and 2) if you talk to her about it in her office during her office hours 1-on-1.

In class she's a real jerk sometimes, but away from that she's really nice, especially if you answer a lot of questions she'll ask in lecture.

are her tests hard? I can just get a doctor's note for that day and have the next test count double if they are easy enough
