Ok, so my buddy has(had) a moped. (he is from wisconsin, and they are common there... he was in shock when only DUI people have them down here)...

anyways, another one of my friends drove it and wrecked it like in September.
He took it to a guy he played poker with who works on vehicles to see if he could fix it.

well, that guy has had it for several months.
and my friend tried to contact him before christmas in December to get it back, since he hadn't worked on it at all.

The problem is, is that this guy has now joined the circus (i'm being dead serious here) and my friend can't get into contact with him, and he'd like his moped.

would it be fucked up to report it stolen, and give the police all of the details? Will scary ass carnies come looking for revenge? (another serious question believe it or not.)


What should he do?

worse comes to worse, call the cops. report it stolen and where it might be. then when you find it just tell them you dont wanna press charges.
