I was going through the same shows in my mind!

I remember coming home from school and having the golden 1-2 hours of animation everyday.

James Bond Jr, Reboot, Woody woodpecker show, Planeteers, and Looney Toon adventures.

Exo-Squad was some good shit. Like X-Men it the things that went on in the story line kind of mirrored some events that have gone on in the world.

oh hell how could i forget Silverhawks. the space cowboy guy though always seemed out of place.

Cartoon Network should have a time slot on like Friday night were all they show is old school cartoons.
Exo-Squad, Thundercats, Voltron, Ronin Warriors, The Centurions, and Silverhawks would make a good three hour block.

It seems to me that us kids that grew up in the 80s and early 90s had it good when it came to cartoons. The new ones now just plain suck. WTF is Pokemon. It's like they got too concerned with violence in the shows.

A year or so ago I would have put Transformers ahead of GI Joe in my list... then I rented the DVDs. Transformers is terrible. 90% of all the shows plots revolve around filling in this madlib:

The (autobots or decipticons) develop a way to take over control of (transformer name) . They are suspected of treason until the mind control chip stops working and the tables are turned.

GI Joe is still funny in a lot of ways.

Glad to see other people remember MASK.

and then there was this one cartoon (don't remember the name) that came on usa cartoon express on sunday mornings with this woman that lived in the jungle and had this badass necklass that she'd take off and throw at people and she had a pet white jaguar too.

Anyone remember the Fake Ghostbusters? They were supposedly the Original ones, but it was a pretty fucked-up Hanna Barbera cartoon (I think most HB cartoons from the late 60s-mid 80s were like that)
