Alot of people at Duke (unlike UNC) think NC State is a very good school for science anyway. Many of our science & engineering programs are ranked higher than theirs.

I dont think the divisions have anything to do with academics at the schools, but rather academics on the individual teams. We run much cleaner programs than Wake, VT, Miami, and MD in basketball and football.

Well I'd put our football team on the level with wake in that respect, but their basketball team is full of dickwads and their athletic department doesnt like to punnish players for fucking up.
