might want to check your bios to change the boot order check certain options, since there's no master/slave configuration for SATA drives.

Bios lists both hard drives but I can't access the sata drive in windows. I'm trying to recover some data from the sata drive. 1/29/2006 10:28:35 AM |

do you see the drive when you go here:
Start>control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disk management

No but while there I found that my via raid drivers were missing (I thought they were included in windows xp). I had them on a floppy in a: and when they loaded the disk became accessible. Thanks for your help. 1/29/2006 4:49:32 PM |
