on an overseas flight. 'Bout how long do you think it would take for it to be recovered? Reasoning alone would think it would take a week for people to get off their ass and find it, and then some more transit time. Just curious if anyone might know. 1/31/2006 11:13:38 AM |

i love these open ended opinion questions - well my opinion is that it will take 4 days - based off of nothing whatsoever other than 4 sounds reasonable 1/31/2006 2:06:44 PM |

It'll probably show up in 2 to 4 days. Last time it happened to my girlfriend we called and said she didn't have any clothes, which was true, so they said buy her some (never tell a woman that). ~$250 later she had clothes. They reimbursed ~$200, so it was a good deal.
The bags showed up after 3 days. 1/31/2006 8:36:12 PM |

I've had luggage misplaced on overseas trips a few times going and once coming home. Return ranged anywhere from the next day to five days later. Make sure that you pester the airline, a lot of times they will reimburse you for the hassle. 1/31/2006 10:26:17 PM |
