I was driving like a jack ass and fish tailed around a corner and my back tire hit a curb and bent in. Now its all diagnol instead of vertical. I managed to limp home and park but the rim was only like an inch from touching the pavement. What did I break and how much will it cost me to fix? Also I need to know who to tow it to that wont rip me off. I went to a place two years ago that took me for a ride and I don't want that to happen again.
thanks for the help

Need pictures, and/or the type of car.
Solid rear axle, Independant rear suspension?
Could be really expensive, could be not to bad.

take the wheel/tire off
put on spare
take wheel/tire to be fixed/replaced

unless you messed up your suspension
then $texas

well if it's still able to run and move forward decently - it's probably not a broken tire (hah if you can really "break" a tire as opposed to warping it i guess) and something made of metal is bent

Sounds like a bent axle, or beam, or knuckle if the wheel is diagonal.
Bent wheel would vibrate like crazy, and it would not really look diagonal.
Flat tire is a flat tire.

i laughed for about 3 minutes straight - did you really think that was a tire issue? how much fucking weed were you smoking when you were going through that thought process

better hope your subframe isnt bent.

might as well ditch the car.

ill take it though.

whats the mileage like.

if you really want it fixed, gimme some info, i might have some parts at work. but im gonna need to check with the boss man first. but if its just susp. then i could help, if its the rear sub, then yea im not gotta get my hands dirty.

Lol thats exactly what i did only not going so fast. I knew the tire wasnt the problem, but I didn't know what else it could be and I didnt want to sound like I thought I knew something I didn't.

Baonest, what info do you need? Its a honda accord 4 door 1997. Seeing as how i dont know the diff between a subframe and a suspention I couldn't tell you. I tried to put a digital camera back there and take some pics but it wouldnt focus well enough. Should I take the tire off and then take some pics?
Ive got insurance so im not gonna ditch the car eventhough my deductable is 500 bucks and im poor, and after this my insurance will probably go up more, but this car has taken me a long way and Im not ready to part with it yet.

a pic without wheel would be good

suspension = the colored stuff minus a few parts, basically
subframe = the gray

you can break the belts in a tire

but yeah, you've torn up suspension and/or chassis parts

All it shows is the right rear tire with about 15 degrees of camber.
Not very descriptive.

haha, i'm thinking that it probably did more than just knock it to the adjustment stop for camber, though

i don't think you can dial in that much
