that shouldn't have been called. both players went after it with basically no time left and Smith was able to jump higher and tip it in. refs need to recognize at the end of games to let things play out and not take the game away from the players playing hard. refs gave win to VT tonight.

It was a foul. In a perfect world, Va tech wouldnt have gotten to shoot free throws. If the G tech guy hadn't made the shot the ref I bet wouldn't have called it. If G tech didn't have more than 5 team fouls, they would not have lost in reg. They call it "BONUS" for a reason. Sad ending really, but it was a foul, weather it was in the first half or second.

Also, I think 7 fouls is too few for a Bonus, I would change it to 8, make the 8th-12th one and one, and 13 double bonus. I love watching teams (except State of course) choking on the second easiest shot (lay up/dunk) in the game, plus it would make the double bonus less frequent.
