two straight games playing tough and coming out with a big win

shades of the 1983 team?? I know it's a big stretch to compare our current team to a national championship winner, but over the past 5-6 years we havent been able to come together and actually win close games

games like tonights and our win at clemson give me a lot of confidence and hope in our team

i would feel alot more confident with a decisive victory, thats just me

1 inch shorter on that last shot and we would have caught another L

yeah, When we were up by 4, a few people started rattling their keys and I was like wtf. You could have heard a pin drop when Singletary took that shot. I think my heart stopped at that moment because it looked like it was good as soon as it came off his hand. I need to quit watching wolfpack sports before I die of a heart attack.

^ yeah definitely, especially when you finished a big double burger, a corndog, and fries from cookout right around the time when we started to collapse.

I guess we are the only team tonight putting thier fans in cardiac arrest, VT in Clemson are in thier first OT right now.

[Edited on February 8, 2006 at 9:39 PM. Reason : thier fans]

did i say anythin about being unhappy with the win you fucking moron. this was a response to dennis's comment about being confident with down to the wire wins. i would much rather win decisively. so stfu and read the goddamn thread before you start comparing posts to your abnormally small pecker

Whoa now. Internet anger. Its ok dude. You did say you wish we could win more decisively. So isnt that complaining about a win?

Yeah I think alcohol takes care of the stress during games. I was fucking toasted for the UNC game and wasnt even nervous. I got mad when we didnt score for the last five minutes, but i was over it and drinking straight liquor not 2 minutes after the game was over.

Unfortunately, I dont have the funds, schedule, or ability to get smashed for every game.

yeah, I'd rather us win by 20-30 points every game too, but since our team cant hold onto a lead to save their lives I gave up on that little dream.

now I'm just happy that we can go into somebody else's house, take them to double overtime, and come out with a win. Last year, as well as many years before that, we probably wouldve won MAYBE 2 out of 4 games that come down to the wire - this year we can win them all. Not the prettiest of games, but dammit we have a team of winners who refuse to lose

that makes me

there shouldn't have even been OT...if the same pack showed up 2nd half that was there the first. typical wolfpack scoring drought. i do enjoy a good nailbiter though...makes the win that much sweeter in the end. last night was definitely a sweet W.
