Is there a list out there anywhere, with their stars out of high school. I just heard Chuck on the radio and he said we redshirted a lot of good people and it just got me to wondering who they were.

or if u find the list i can just look up the stars.

If anyone can find this i would appreciate it.

Greco a safety? Guess he was worse at QB than Stone.

thanks packbacker, looks like we have some solid people there, a 4 star and a few 3's. I am interested to see Geron James and Newell, 6-4 with that speed should be fun to watch.

I've heard Geron James will be the next in the line of great WR's at NC State (Holt, Koren, Cotch).

Supposedly he's the most impressive of the entire class.

Alan Michael-Cash (DT) is supposedly looking fantastic
Same as Avery Vogt (LB).
Chuck's had great great things to say about (RB) Jamelle Eugene
It seems that I've heard Ray Michel (LB) is looking solid as well...
Not sure about Newell, but he's a freak DE that we are converting to WR. Seems like I've heard some talk about his progress, but I really can't verify anything I've heard. General Rumblings

(P.S. As far as "Stars" go... don't just look at that.... some of these guys were underrated. Look at their offer lists. For instance, Quentin Brown was only a 3*.... and he has offers from just about everyone)

of your list, WolfMiami

I think both Neals played. JC in the secondary and Levin on Special teams. Not sure about that though

Again, I think we could have redshirted McCuller, but I'm not sure about his eligibility considering he was at JUCO 2 years I believe. I guess we could still redshirt him... he didn't play

Jamelle Eugene didn't play.

I don't believe Vogt did either

You forgot Littleton Wright... who I don't think played either and was also a JUCO

Does James still get to redshirt with appearing in two games?

Dont forget Garret Kline (JUCO AA OL) he redshirted and might just make us forget about Derek Morris real quick

I'm pretty sure McCuller was a true freshman last year. He definitely got redshirted. Kline and Littleton Wright were the two JUCO's that went to the same school.

He was not a JUCO...he will be a redshirt freshman next year...he played in HS up here in Chesapeake,VA so I know he wasn't JUCO.

Baker, Brown, Neal, Neal, and Crouch are the only ones to not redshirt. James played in 2 games but injured his ankle and received a medical hardship (same thing as a redshirt).

Quentin Brown
Jamelle Eugene
Kyle Newell
Matt Kushner
Alan-Michael Cash
Julian Williams
Ray Michel
Geron James
Ted Larsen
Avery Vogt
Andy Barbee
Jeraill McCuller
Mike Greco
Willie Young

plus:
Littleton Wright
Garrett Kline

^ I really think the ability to redshirt this amound of kids will really help in the coming years, this was chucks plan all along, he has just not been able to do it to this extent until last years class

it will pay dividends

^I hope you're right. Last years class was ranked pretty high too, and now we're basically getting these guys after a year in a college weight/training program under mostly the same coaches. I know they'll be rusty on the field at first, but now they have 4 more years to get that right.

Hopefully this keeps working for Chucky...we'll find out in year or two...another reason I'm against firing him. He's really just getting established and he hasnt royally fucked up yet...so lets see what he can do in a year or two then start judging him. Herb worked out ok...I think Chuck can do the same.

Littleton Wright and Garrett Kline neither played.
Pat Bedics also redshirted (forced to redshirt because of a transfer from Penn State, but still..)
