Well, my intellimouse is slowly dying on me, so I'm looking for a replacement. I kinda have my eye on this:

Also, looking to upgrade from my 80 lb CRT to an LCD. Currently, my CRT is an ibm p202. 21" 19" viewable.

Looking at newegg, they say that the screen size is 19" does that mean the viewable screen? or the whole width of the monitor. I know a stupid n00b question, but I'm just getting into LCD's.

^in a crt, it's total size, in a LCD it's viewable size.

if you hate cordless mice, I like the mx510 and mx518's from logitech. I also like the g5 laser mouse (non cordless), but it's a little expensive.

outside of logitech, I'd recomend the raser diamondback.

the logitechs are availible at tiger direct outlet on capitol blvd for alright prices, just don't get them at bestbuy.

The two razer mice are the copperhead and the diamond back. They're pretty, and they're effective, but they're not very comfortable. They can however be used by those damned mutant lefties. My favorite is the mx510 and I've used it for about 2 years. I've used the 518's and the g5's, but meh. I've come to be used to and love my 510.

^ I know people who swear by them. They have a lot of buttons, look cool, and are suposed to perform pretty well. I can't stand the feel to the razers, and my logitech mx510 has been durable as hell. I would strongly reccomend the mx510, 518 and g5's from logitech over ANY razer mouse myself, but some people have to have glowy shit and if you want glowy shit, razer makes the best.

In addition to gaming mice, you should consider getting a nice mouse pad.

If you're going to have a nice mouse for gaming, you ought to spend the $10-20 for a decent pad.
