I got Couture on this one. The guys is a pure beast all around. Im kinda worried about the Iceman's ground ability tho, it seems as if he relies on the knockout punch too much. However, couture will loose in the long run if he tries to stand up with chuck for the entire fight.

^hahahahah naaa Chuck liddell aka The Iceman. I think its going to be a good fight for the ufc light heavyweight spot. Like I said in the past threads tho, the best fighters are in pride. Those guys are another breed.

^ Partially wrong. Many former pride guys fight in the UFC and vice versa. In some weight classes the UFC crushes Pride, and vice versa.

Okay,I based that on what I saw. Take the top ufc guy (chuck liddell) and place them against a mediocre pride guy (quintin RAmpage) and see what happens? He brutally murdered chuck like ive never seen!! Matter fact, chucks corner threw the towell in. Ive seen this plenty of times.

Yeah some guys do find better success crossing over ufc/pride vice versa. But fact is, pride is bigger and older so you get alot more experience veteran fighters. You get more legendary fighters in their discipline as in comparrison to ufc. The rounds are twice as longer too.

oh yeah, and those lil' japanese motherfuckers can fight too!!

I'm taking Couture, did you see the second fight? they said that Liddell controlled the fight I say bullshit, Couture was on the attack as in the first fight, he made a huge mistake and got clocked by a lucky shot(because he was too aggresive). He is by far a better fighter.

I bought the PPV on this one, it was pretty good as far as they go. Decent undercard, the main even was a bit of a let down because it ended so early in the second. I was really hoping for at least 2 full rounds. There are some really good matchups coming up soon though.

I'm looking forward to Hughes vs. Gracie, but I might be even more pumped for Arlovski vs. Sylvia. Andrei Arlovski might be the scariest fighter alive today. That guy is an animal.

The next UFC PPV looks a little light on star power. Franklin vs. David Louisa is an interesting matchup but I think Rich Franklin is going to win pretty easily. I am looking forward to seeing Georges St. Pierre fight again though.
