Who are some of the new kids we'll be getting? I haven't heard of any big commitments so far.

Because most of the commitments were a year ago?

Larry Davis (G)
Dennis Horner (F)
Dan Werner (F)
Trevor Ferguson (G) (transferred from Pitt back in December)

Davis is listed as a SG, but from what I hear he's not bad at point either. I think Ferguson also has the ability to play some point, and he'll have had a year of practice in the system before he can play in January.

So my guess is we'll be using a swing-heavy system, with Atsur, Fells, Ferguson, and Davis.

Grant as PG would be terrifying

Why not just let Atsur do it

atsur's gonna play point...he brings the ball up the court a lot this year so i'm sure herb will continue to use him. Ferguson is skinny as a rail and doesn't look athletic but i hope he is...i don't know too much about him. And judging by the pics on scout.com horner looks like he's 12

Trevor and Atsur are switching out at the point, then u u have a SG in fells, and Grant with a possible F in Grant as well

Trevor is good, hes reallllllllllly good, he has extremely good court vision and a shot that is basically a made basket everytime he takes it...Kid has game and is really really quick, good as a PG.

lol, yeah i thought the same thing

I think fells has more of a chance though than grant to play point guard.

If all goes as planned next season the starting five will hopefully be
Guard/PG -- Atsur
Guard/PG -- Grant or maybe Fells
Small Forward -- Grant or maybe Costner
Power Forward -- Brackman
Center -- Simmons

yea, losing a fifth year senior with tons of experience and knowledge of the system is no big deal whatsoever.

He's had countless knee surgeries, cant jump or run fast yet he's averaging a good 12 ppg, 4 rpg, 2 to 3 assists per game and not to mention he is a 90% free throw shooter and a 40% 3pt shooter. WORTHLESS! Let's not even talk about his leadership on the court!

Please stop talking about Grant playing point guard

I dont think my heart can take that shit.

If you notice...while we're on offense and the crowd has a chant going, it always dies when Gavin has the ball for more than 2 seconds. I've noticed it the last 2 games now...its getting pretty ridiculous. Of course he's played ok this past week...but its just an observation.

It will most likely be atsur/ferguson running the point. I have heard VERY GOOD things about trevor ferguson in practice. Having all of this practice time with the team will help him step in next year and contribute as a freshman.
