My girlfriend currently resides in Australia. We've been visiting back and forth for a little while, and now she would like to move to the US. This would require her being able to have a job during her stay. Do any of you know the best way to do this (besides getting married, that's a lot of pressure)? We are already going to get her to work the summer camp on which we met this summer, but that only lasts for 3 months or so with a J-1 visa. The change of status from J-1 to resident is a very tricky one which requires the subsequent job to be strongly related to the job in which the J-1 visa was issued, so that's pretty much out. Any better ideas? Please please help if you have any information. Thanks
