Didn't Knight give back a large portion of his salary a few years ago because he said he didn't earn it? Pretty hardcore to me, don't know too many coaches that would do it. Also, TT is not Indiana, he needs any exposure for TT that he can get, and it's also within NCAA rules. If you think he's a sell out, watch a game at RBC and especially Carter-Finley, adds usually about every 45 seconds.

knight signed his contract so that they he could get endorsements rather than cost texas tech a lot of money he gets commercial ads to cover his pay

Giving back a few hundred K is noteworthy any way you want to spin it. Let's say he makes 3M a year with endorsements ( idoubt it's that much), and gives back between 200-300K to TT for "not achieving", thats a nice chunk of change.

pretty interesting show, especially when there's not anything else on tv on a sunday night.

i dont really care, but i'm sure some people argue that this is a recruiting tool (more exposure, etc).

this show is totally ridiculous. The only reason I watched is beause I wanted to see bobby knight yelling at kids and making them cry. I mean, c'mon, why else would anyone watch? But he's only on the show for like five minutes and the rest is them doing stupid boot camp drills that have nothing to do with basketball. who wants to watch that shit? I want bob knight throwing chairs!! you can't have a show called knight school when bob knight is only in it for like one segment.

the winner gets to go through off season conditioning and practice with the team and will get a CHANCE to make the team next fall.
