Can somebody recommend some code repositories for Visual Studio .NET 2003? Googled Visual SourceSafe, and saw both good and bad things about it. Looks like it will play nice with .NET, but lacks features.
Thoughts/feedback appreciated. 2/9/2006 9:57:45 AM |

you could look at SubVersion, and there's a SVN SCC plugin for Visual Studio .NET so you can use source control through the IDE 2/9/2006 10:08:52 AM |

Perforce is very nice and you can download a fully working 2 license version for free. This is what I use at home.
Team Foundation Server is also nice but it is an enterprise solution, meaning lots of money. Plus it is still in RC.
Clearcase sucks.
SourceSafe sucks. Anyone who writes a source control system that uses windows file sharing should be shot.
There are all types of free CVS variants out there. Never tried them. Heard good and bad things about them. 2/9/2006 11:44:04 AM |

^ That has to be one of the best and most ridiculous computer software marketing videos I've ever seen. 2/13/2006 1:05:46 PM |
