I've been thinking of getting a tattoo of a sparrow, but I heard they symbolize white supremacy (at least in prisons) is this true or a rumor?

only meaning of the sparrow tat I know is for sailors - used to get them when they had gome 5k miles

the reason for the sparrow was that it used to be said that if lost at sea and you saw a sparrow, you were close to lad and could follow its direction to land

i did a quick google and read the sparrow in prison means a fight against power (ie flying away from their confinement)

just don't get thrown in jail and you'll be OK
