It's because our interior defense is a paper tiger. easy to shoot a high percentage when you are point blank

Our guards are not hard to "blow by" especially Atsur and Evtimov, and Bennerman is not exempt from taking defensive plays off. This creates lay ups or kick outs for three. If you saved the Clemson game, especially the first half, take a look at perimeter defense, or lack thereof.

^thats also true, but in this game, the crappy interior defense dominated. How many times did someone get free from a baseline screen and had an easy jam?

Actually, I will say that a lack of ball pressure also causes that. I wish grant would get up on guys like bethel. Atsur tries, but he cant outrun a black guy. Bennerman is just dumb a lot of the time.
