i dunno, i found it rumored on a site. theres usually way more than that so im sure an official press release will be out soon. nice to see he is legend...saves the day would be interesting since last i saw them was at the weezer show in 2002 at rbc. it was all downhill from there for them...

sucks because if this is true, i probably won't be in raleigh at the time but i could probably make the charlotte date. i think the lineup is better this year imo.

I am glad to see both Underoath and Thursday on that list since neither were at the Warped Tour last year.

valient thor baby. haha, the lead singer (herbie) was in the art dept with me at ecu. Dude's a trip.

ecu's becoming the hotbed for up and coming bands. The art dept inparticular. I had class with the guys from both valiant thor and the avett bros. and the capulets started out in greenville and are some of my good friends. although to be fair, stu (the lead singer) is the only true ecu guy in the capulets. the others are chapel hill alumni.

ASG is from wilmington

^they usually give them out at the show, I dont think there's a set order, they change it up from city to city...probably based on demogrphics and shit

They randomly draw numbers the morning of the concert to see who plays when, so there is no real "headliner".

so you have no idea of knowing if you will get to see all the bands you want until you get there.

i was hoping to know what bands play when so i could see how many dif bands i could see before deciding on going or not.

oh well.

all the "bigger" named bands will play on the 2 main stages but not at the same time...1 stage plays, then the other after the 1st plays, and they keep up that rotation the whole day

the other smaller stages, if you want to call them that, have the smaller band names, local bands, and whatnot

yeah but i mean, with that many stages, won't they have bands playing at the same time, or do they just kill all the setup time by having multiple stages?

with the two main stages, there is no down time

last time i went, the 2 main stages were set up side by side. as soon as 1 band was done, the other band would come on theother stage and start.

^yeah, the main stages are usually one big stage cut in half, while one band plays on one side of the stage, another band plays on the other side.

they'll have bands on the main stages and side stages playing all day, with more than one band playing at a time. they play for 30 minute intervals (the "headliners" might play for longer though). so, you get a list of the times bands that you want to see are playing, and plan your day around that. It has always worked out for me when I've gone in the past, there have only been a couple times that two bands that I really wanted to see played in the same time slot.

I went to Warped..'03 I think in Charlotte and it was HELL ON EARTH.

It wasn't held IN the amphitheater, it was in the parking lot of it. It was 98 out, and people were getting heat poisoning, and heat strokes. The cheapest food for purchase was a personal pizza from like dominos or somewhere and it was $8. A Cup of ice was $2. You could bring in up to a gallon of water/person but they took the lids/caps to make sure you didnt chuck it at someone and hurt them. I had never been so dirty and filthy in my entire life...afterwards my friend and I just jumped into our hotel's swimming pool. It was disgusting - think dirt from where your socks separated from your ankles...even though I was wearing jeans. I met the lead singer of the Casualties and he was really nice. Sick teeth though. Would never go again - conditions were worse/sketchier than Ozzfest.
Prepare to spend a shit load of $, be hot and weirded out.
