JJ is a great college player who probably doesn't have the athleticism or all-around game that Gay has or that the NBA is looking for. I can't find a flaw in his college game.. he's a perfect specimen for a college SG

that tirade coach k put paulas through is the same one that he did for a bobby hurley. Then hurley woke up and went on to stardom the next 3 years. Guy knows something, i can't hate a great coach...he is one, dean wasn't in my opinion he just had the donors and the word to work with. JJ is great and as someone on espn said..have you ever seen adam m guard? He couldnt guard you with a gun in his arm.

Word is that Avery was in bad academic standing in the first place.

And if he wasnt, then that bitch deserved to get cursed out. That mother fucker wasnt ready for the NBA, and now he's stuck with no basketball career and no degree from Duke.

morrison would stomp gay gay 1-1. height and athleticness gives you a huge advantage in 1-1. mustache is 6-8 with long arms and gay gay is 6-4. this is not saying morrison is a better player but better in 1-1.

Jason Williams graduated with a sociology degree with less than 100 hours, 98 I think. There is no such thing as academic problems in Duke basketball, K wanted him to stay badly, and would have found a way should a problem have arisen. Plus Avery was on an active roster for at least 3 seasons I believe in the NBA, so I'd say he made close to 3m, in the bank, not too shaby. Jay Will on the other hand, well I guess his Duke "degree" got him that broadcasting positon, couldn't have been his success on the court??? The whole "degree" issue applies to those who have no future in the NBA, not guys like Will Avery, or Jay Will for that matter.


But on topic, Morrison will be the better pro with good coaching, JJ has reached his potential, Morrsion has only seen the tip of the iceberg. Plus JJ driving to the basket and getting fouled 4 out of 5 times will not exist in the NBA.
