I wouldn't go as far as Atlanta for Sonata Arctica, but they def. have some dope stuff. Shy is a really good song. Imma listen to it now. Thx.

I drove 6 hours there and back the first time I saw them, so Atlanta is not that bad at all to me...in all honesty, I would drive 10 hours without any real hesitation, because they are the best live band I have ever seen by far

I mean, Sonata Arctica is the kind of thing I'd check out in Raleigh, but I wouldn't go out of my way for. It isn't for lack of quality, because they are certainly amazing at what they do. It's more of the fact that, as much as I enjoy melodic metal, it isn't really much of my scene, and I don't have many close friends who are into it, so I'm not gonna inconvenience myself to take it in. Still, for anyone who's really into that genre, Sonata Arctica does it as well as anyone.

well said...but I will say this; seeing a great powermetal band in person changes your entire opinion of shows/concerts as a whole...it beats the hell out of anything else, I promise you that
