Back during his freshman year when he was "unbreakable", running with a broken hand, throwing up every game, etc...
Then he came back and was injured just about every week, couldn't hold onto the ball, and stopped throwing up.
It's weird, his freshman year he held onto the ball better with a cast on than he did his next 2 years without a cast. 2/20/2006 5:10:33 PM |

i think it was a mental thing, and the success got to his head and for one reason or another he thought he was a godlike back. 2/20/2006 5:12:15 PM |

I still say the three best freshmen college RBs I saw in person were in this order:
TA Robert Edwards (Georgia) Jamal Lewis 2/20/2006 5:26:47 PM |

TA's freshman year I think he should have gotten freshman of the year, even over MC. But he and MC both took a bad turn after their STELLAR freshman performances and now neither are likely to ever see the NFL except on tv. 2/20/2006 5:29:16 PM |

Thats whats good about Toney and Andre not having great seasons. They both did very well, but not consistent enough to shit your pants over. Now they both know they have to work to get better, and they can get better. I think these two together can take enough pressure off the QB that we can win, no matter who is under center. 2/20/2006 5:53:46 PM |
