I'm agnostic most of the time, although I do tend to pray to God in my head when things are bad (I think that comes from my upbringing).

agnostic/eclectic pagan

pretty much acknowledgement and respect for a higher power, but refusal to accept the idea that any one religion is entirely correct.

What's wrong with bmdurham's, Ronny's, and LadyWolff's religions?
Those are religions aren't they?
I've heard estimates that there are over 10,000 people who's officially registered/recognized religion is Jedi--and that's just in England alone...

i'm honestly surprised to see so many agnostic here. with that said, i'm agnostic but seriously considering religion right now (a marked difference from believing all religions to be absurd my entire life).

basically agnostic acting, don't really go to church any more, raised baptists though.

i've done more jewish rituals like sedar (sp) just b/c of the ppl i hang out w/, but thats not religous for me at all

polytheism is appealling in that it offers more tolerance vs the intolerance on monotheists.

I know many christians have used the argument that if you follow their god then your bases are covered that way if there really is a god you are good, and if there isn't one then no harm done.

i'm not sure about the no harm done part, but polytheism would be really covering all your bases, allow for tolerance, & let you sample a little over everything.

It'd also be fun trying to line up god say yahweh & uranus are the same dude maybe... try to find more pairs.... although typically most other religions dieties seem to be considered demons in christianity.

I know Hephastus who is a god of the forge for the greeks & was basically a nice guy, tried to resolve fights ect is treated as a demon in the Diablo game series.

I mean christianity is polytheistic to the extent that there are many supernatural powers of different strength levels, but you only call one of them a god... non of the nymph-like or demi-god like people count.

But if you believe there are multiple supernatural forces out there with differing power lvls (be they gabrial, michael, a son of god & a mortal- jesus, or cyclopes, titanids, & hercules I still like the idea of a tolerant appreciation for the supernatural more than an intolerant one.

Raised Catholic. Joined a Free Will Baptist church about 8 or so years ago. Way too conservative for my tastes now.

I don't know what I am or really what I believe anymore. I'm just kind of content being by myself and being somewhat self-sufficient spiritually.

I don't really know if I believe in a God or Gods...I honestly don't feel moved in that direction, and I don't really know if he or she or they exist. I don't feel anything, and sometimes I wish I did...but I've kind of come to terms with it.
