I was looking through the most recent Wolfpacker (Burke on the cover) and I see the full page ad for Lifetime Rights in Carter-Finley, with the new North Endzone included.
They've got a lot of new prices/levels now. I got my 4 LSRs in early 2004, in section 30L, for $2000 each. Now they're charging $4000/each for sec 30L! glad i got 'em back then.... I guess 12-11 over the past 2 seasons merits doubling the prices 2/24/2006 12:36:56 PM |

What all do you get for getting LSRs? Just a seat?
Because $600+ a game seems ridiculous for the team we put out onto the field. 2/24/2006 12:43:41 PM |

It's $4,000 paid over the next 10 years ($400 per year)... (It sounds like you think it's for one season only...? )
On top of that don't you have to pay separate for season tickets and parking passes? 2/24/2006 12:48:39 PM |

They actually are probably closer to 8/900 a seat because you have to be at the 300/yr. giving level every year.
When they jacked up the price to 2500 & installed the higher giving level, I decided against getting LTR's. The previous levels were reasonable, but the new levels are rediculous & that's why they can't sell all of them.

Yea the LTR just gives you the right to purchase the season tickets for those seats every year, so you pay the LTR price, then pay the season ticket price each year on top of that (which includes a parking pass)......so I'm sure someone's going to say why not just purchase season tickets every year and not bother with the LTRs? The catch is that most of the better seats are reserved for LTR holders.2/24/2006 1:07:39 PM |

^I wanted to do that, but I was poor at that time. When I got to where I could afford them, they jacked everything up.
^^Don't forget you must maintain a high giving level to the WPC every year also, which is currently 300/yr.
I'll just scalp my tickets for much cheaper.

^^^the other catch is that it's almost impossible to get regular season tickets. You have to be pretty high up in the wolfpack club. 2/24/2006 1:34:57 PM |

that shit is a rip off.
Why not just buy tickets for the individual games you can & care to go to?
Its not like its hard to pick up a ticket to any of our games... 2/24/2006 8:18:02 PM |

Well 9one9, some people actually want to contribute more to their university than just the carolina t-shirt they purchased at Wal-Mart. 2/24/2006 8:31:27 PM |
