Your thoughts?

I dont think it is that bad of a thing. if a team goes wire-to-wire they will only play 8 games. Most teams will only play one or two.

I dont think America will win, sadly. I think Japan probably will win, since they are the most team-oriented team in the tournament. The Dominican has the scariest lineup though. America has the best pitching.

Manny opted out. Pedro won't pitch the first round.

Also, one plus is that there is a mandatory pitch count limit. They won't be playing any more then a regular spring training..
