Anyone got their MAC certification? Desktop or Portable technicians? I took my Desktop test today (and passed) but I still have to take the OS X test and the Portable test.

After those two tests I'll be ACDT (apple certified desktop tech.) and ACPT (apple certified portable tech.). Now, if I can just get a raise after getting certified! HA - I work for the state...I know that won't happen...but at least they are paying for it

MAC may be an abbreviation (short for Macintosh) but it is not an acronym.

^^ Actually there is quite a difference between MAC and Mac, when you're dealing with technically adept people.

Typing MAC implies the acronym MAC - Medium Access Control, whereas Mac is just short for Macintosh.
