Has anyone called in on one of the shows?
I was like seconds from air time when i hung up, im affraid my call will be a giant disaster
that will be replayed over and over

I love this station. I've thought about calling in, but I cant even gather my thoughts in normal conversation, let alone condense them into the few seconds I'd have on the air.

I always want to talk smack to the other callers, but they usually do a good job of putting people in their place when necessary.

Yeah I know...I more want to comment on how ridiculous some of their perceptions are. My favorite is when UNC fans and Duke fans call in and talk about State fans. They've been complaining lately about us "expecting greatness" and not realizing how good of a coach Sendek is.


Its easy to say that when you've lost to him 3 or 4 times in 10 years. I know we shouldnt expect greatness, but we should be back to where we were in the late 80's...and that means beating Duke and UNC once every few attempts...even if not every year. There's nothing wrong with expecting that.

yeah, he's just a prick really. I almost feel sorry for him because the people that call in to his show are complete morons. I guess I'd be a prick too if that's the kind of people I had to deal with every day.
