Is it really neccessary to have ST 445 before ST 430? I wasn't able to take 445 this semester because of a scheduling conflict and it won't be taught again until next spring. I wanted to take more then one statistics class this coming semester so I was wondering if I should go ahead and take 430. 3/4/2006 4:36:43 PM |

430 uses SAS, which is taught in 445. If you already know SAS, there's no problem. If not, start learning it or take regression later. 3/4/2006 5:59:31 PM |

If you've taken 302L, you should be good to go. ST445 is more of a dataset manipulation/interpretation course ... utilizing SAS in the process.
What Statistics courses are you thinking of takin? 3/4/2006 9:44:10 PM |
