Is it really neccessary to have ST 445 before ST 430? I wasn't able to take 445 this semester because of a scheduling conflict and it won't be taught again until next spring. I wanted to take more then one statistics class this coming semester so I was wondering if I should go ahead and take 430.

430 uses SAS, which is taught in 445. If you already know SAS, there's no problem. If not, start learning it or take regression later.

If you've taken 302L, you should be good to go. ST445 is more of a dataset manipulation/interpretation course ... utilizing SAS in the process.

What Statistics courses are you thinking of takin?

^^Yeah, well. I didn't pay much attention in 302L.

I thought Thompson was great.
