"In its first nine ACC games, Duke took 240 free throws to its opponents' 146. One graphic on a sports-news program questioned the disparity and hinted at bias by officials. In Duke's next six ACC games - after an officiating crew was suspended by the ACC for one game for calling an improper technical against an FSU player during the first FSU-Duke game - Duke took 149 free throws to its opponents' 146."

kind of speaks for itself

What a damn bitch. They start calling it fairly and Duke starts losing. Coincendence I think not. Fuck Duke. Thanks to America for finally noticing the double standard.

Now what about UNC's double standard while we are at it?

Gee, with all the good media he gets, just one bad thing and he's sounding like..... well let's just say it, state fans on a message board (I mean everybody thinks we're conspiracy theorists when we blame the ref's for giving the calls to Duke, and now he says its a conspiracy that the media is out to get them).

I mean seriously not all news [publicity] can be good new K, "It's part of the game"

""I'm not going to have an inquiry here, but obviously (it's) whoever puts up the graphics, whoever puts up the footage," he said. "How could that be the play from the Florida State game? Really. Really. They won. But they can't let it go. Why can't you let it go: 'I've got something here.'"

As far as officiating goes, why wouldn't he want it right? Why shouldn't the ACC look back at games instead of just letting it go? I'm sure if one of his players did something wrong he wouldn't just let it go - he'd go over it and over it until it was fixed, right?

I would like to see a UNC game called fairly. Hansbrough commits more offensive fouls than any person I have ever seen and them not get called. He's chicken-winging everytime he makes a move. Pretty sure that's an offensive foul....

^ yea me too. That was totally unfair that JJ Redick got credit for a 3 when it was CLEARLY a 2 in the UNC game..

I didn't watch UNC/Duke. I had no interest whatsoever. I knew how it would end as soon as I heard on the radio that Valentine/Hess were reffing the game. AND I was correct.
