Coupled with the ASP.NET frontend is a powerful backend powered by SQL Server. The latest in data access technologies is used to bring the two together. And yes, we do realize that these are Microsoft technologies. The fact is, this is the best platform for the job. If you don't believe us, take us up on our standing offer and go create a similar software package that performs as well. " |
Is this going to be expanded or what is your standing offer? I was wondering if there was something other than "well do it".

i think i was drunk when i wrote that... however, the offer stands!
the difficult part would be to evenly match up the test. CrazyWeb is optimized for many concurrent users and a LOT of backend data. with an empty or small database, our caching would just get in the way. with a large database, our caching will blow most anything away. so we would somehow have to duplicate the data across to a different dbms. plus the schema would probably be differnet and a bunch of other problems.
but no, there is no official publication of the "standing offer" 3/6/2002 12:12:13 PM |
