is the equivalent of getting in the sack with Jenna Jameson. Oh, everybody wants to do it, but it can be an incredibly humbling and "short" experience.

why don't you just make a thread call 'articles copied from ESPN.com and N&O'

it would keep the clutter out of sports talk"

[Edited on March 9, 2006 at 11:45 PM. Reason : good God that's easily the worst sports-related article I've EVER read]

Matt Leinart turned his back on multimillions by staying in school another year. I think that's a pretty humble thing to do. pretty stupid in my opinion, but still pretty humble nonetheless.

Please... he just wanted one more year of coasting and all the pussy he can shake a stick at. He took out a massive insurance policy so don't even pretend like he was taking a huge economic all-or-nothing gamble. Besdies, his knee problem was the main reason he didn't go last year. He acted like a douche after the BCS Championship.

In other words he wanted to live the American Dream. Take 1 easy as fuck class, bang a different girl a night, and play QB...

as opposed to the nfl, where he could make millions, fuck a different chick every night, take no classes, and play QB.

^^ I'd imagine the workload for a NFL QB is FAR FAR more then a college one...

true, but pete is a former nfl coach. i'm sure usc had to have been more rigourous than most colleges.

He spent another year living a celebrity lifestyle in LA, without the same level of pressure that an NFL QB would face.

If I were him, I'd do the same thing.
