On saturday around 11PM, i come to campus hoping to go back to my dorm and sleep. Well..i find out that dorms are closed until Sunday.

Just my luck, my cell phone died. Home is 2 hours away. So i start driving on hillsborough, and see the library.

So i went in to charge my phone, call friends and find a place to stay..lights on..and a sign that says "Saturday: Resumes nornal schedule". I open the door, and come in..no one there. so i thought, cuz its spring break..i guess no one would be there. I also notice a small alarm thing comming from teh front desk.

I charge my phone, make calls, find a place, and leave. As soon as i left the library, 5 cops chase me down thinking i broke into the library, cuz it closed at 10..and the alarm was cuz i opened the door. After much time, i convince them to check the doors. They found out they forgot to lock the doors.


Anyway...i have a certain special someone who is extreemly mad at me cuz she thinks I have no common sense, and I was at fault, and i could have gotten into trouble....

Was I at fault?

If the doors were open and the lights were on, I don't blame you for going in, I would have likely done the same. If I didn't see a soul there, though, I think I would have gotten a little freaked out and left, or at least gone back outside.

Sucks that the cops gave you such a hard time, but if you weren't charged with anything or given a ticket, it's over with no harm done. Hopefully your girl will get over it, give it a little time.
