actually, i'm proud to say i'm an eagle scout as well...in fact, my boss told me (recently, after i've been working there for nearly two years) that what put me over the edge was my eagle scout...so screw everyone who thinks it's dorky

dorky? Lots of military specialists, astronauts, presidents, and other important people are more likely to be an eagle scout. Besides, if you go in the military as an eagle, you get a better jump start as a leader and it looks good on the ole resume.
