[bump]

I am usually pretty good figuring out movies, but I just saw this (the director's cut) for the first time last night and I am pretty stumped. I find it implausable that the plane with his mother and sister on it could be the one that "kill" him two weeks before they were on the plane.

Seriously, I am, but this one was a little out there. Maybe I just need to watch it again or something.

its been a while since i watched it... but didn't he let himself die to avoid a mistake that he could have also avoided by living and just behaving differently?

the director's cut spells it out for you nice and neatly-- the original version is the one that is a bit ambiguous when viewing for the first time
