2 pups were dropped off on my dirt road today. They're approximately 12 weeks old; definitely mutts with possibly pit bull and maybe some hound?? Very, very friendly! Both are females, one gray with dots and one brown with dots. If you are interested in them, please PM me. Hope to get pics up soon.

Wow they are CUTE! Male/Female? Please screen potential adopters to ensure they go to loving homes. You should charge a small adoption fee. If someone is serious about getting a dog they will pay a small amount to show commitment. You could just ask to be reimbursed for food, collar, leashes, etc. If you do not have any luck in finding them homes you could ask for them to be accepted into a rescue org and foster them. The organization will pay for their vet bills, food, etc. The pups are very unique looking and I believe they will catch someones eye!

^Those rescue orgs have huge waitlists. So, she may want to apply now, and just cancel the forms if they get homes. However, TWW is a good place to adopt dogs and cats out.

I'm actually a foster for Best Friend Pet Adoption, so thinking about putting them into the organization if nothing prevails with TWW. If someone is interested, I will definatly be sure to check and make sure they will take very good care of them. ^^ It is possible that they have Blue Heeler, no idea who the parents are, so it is a possibility. The only thing that makes me think possible pit are the narrow eyes of the gray one. Could be something else, not sure.^^^^They're both females. Very cute and very nice!! I would take them both in a heartbeat if I didn't already have two dogs. They are extremely cute so I don't think you'll have any problems (I hope) getting them adopted.

Thanks! A third one showed up this morning. Another female who appears to be a few weeks older than the other two. This one is white w/ a brown eye. She's also very nice and is living in the same area with the other two. I don't think they're related, but seem to get along well.

Hmm that is strange. Do you live in a rural area? Post pics of the 3rd cutie. If you see an adult dog in the neighborhood that resembles the puppies, get on the owners to spay and neuter! Some people cannot grasp this concept!

^^^ I live in a very rural area. I live between Bunn, NC and Louisburg, NC about 45 min. NE of Raleigh on a dirt road. We currently have about 8 adult dogs running around that we can't get our hands on. Over the past 9 years we have rescued, and adopted out, over 120 cats and dogs. One requirement we have when adopting is to have the rescued dogs spayed/neutered. It really is hard to get people to realize how important it is to get their dogs fixed, so we end up with the unwanted litters. I'll go out and get some pics of the 3rd one and get them posted as well.

Yes, they are all 3 still available. I do ask for at least 2 references (and possibly an adoption application- haven't decided yet) to make sure the home is perfect for them and they must be spayed. I'm not sure of their full grown size, but guessing around 50lbs (give or take 10) since the breed is unknown. PM me know if they're interested!! Thank you!

Damn, nice lookin pups.

I got an American Staff. Mix last year at about this time. Those pics resemble what Finley looked like at about that age. Not real sure what Finley is mixed with (looks like a Pit/Boxer type mix) but definitely doesn't have the attributes as a Pit. So they called her an American Staffordshire Mix which is probably about right.

GREAT dog though. Rarely barks, very nice, she even gets along great with my mother's chihuaha. Finley's about 55-60lbs, fwiw.

Someone will get a great pet. Good luck. I would definitely be interested in one if I wasn't stuck living at home for awhile until I can afford my own place.

One or two of them look like a mix between Blue Tick Hound and possibley Pit. If they are Blue Tick Hound, I would recommend that they go somewhere with lots of area to play in. We have 6 Blue Tick Hound mixes back home, and they will dig up the lawn and drag about anything they can get their paws on back into the yard.

Very cute... I would definetly say a pitt mix. Wow that is awesome that you have rescued so many animals! I wish people would be more responsible pet owners. A lot of people are ignorant about spaying and neutering. Others are just cruel and don't care if the puppies are euthanized. There are tons of low cost programs and absolutely no reason not to.

^^Yeah I live off of Ferrel's Bridge rd. off of highway 39. There are also places like the ASPCA which screens incoming animals and does not put any to sleep that they feel are adoptable. There are definatly better ways to give away pups then to throw on the side of a road. Ideally, people will just simply get their animals spayed or neutered, becuase like you said, there are programs (like SNAP) which provide low cost surgerys.
