I think it's because he's not 21 so now I guess she can buy him alcohol. I was sad when my girlfriend turned 21, because now my primary reason for not hanging out with her is no longer valid.

If you're just looking for a waterproof outdoor jacket, personally I've been nothing but happy with the two Columbias I've owned. Generally less expensive than North Face also.

If you're looking for it just for the name, then I guess your mind is likely made up.

They had a decent selection at the Great Outdoor Provision Co. in Cameron Village after Christmas... and I'm pretty sure they should still have a selection, although I haven't been in there since then.
