are these two different majors or are they combined together as one?
If different...what classes do you have to take to go each route?

yeah, I've always thought that it is just one because I've seen them always listed together.
However, I have heard from more than one person that they are two separate majors and you need to choose a certain path. 3/19/2006 11:36:43 PM |

Don't confuse and mix the terms "degree", "major", and "concentration" interchangeably ... all three are different concepts. A degree is what is officially listed on your diploma and specified by a degree key. A major is a field of study you want to pursue. A concentration is a specialized discipline within that major you want to focus intently on.
NCSU does a great job of posting information online ... if you aren't sure of something, you can probably find the answer somewhere on NCSU.edu Look at that second link I posted. Down in "OPT 618" is where you pick your electives to focus on either public or interpersonal. 3/20/2006 12:11:06 AM |
